Kamsso Almoustapha

Since the age of 7,Kamsso Almoustapha learned the art of manufacturing jewelry next to his father, as an apprentice in his workshop.
At 12, he began to make his first little jewels, rings and crosses made of lost-wax, using different materials such as silver, lead, copper and tin.
When his father saw his skills and dexterity, he began to give him a bit of silver to make the same objects under the watchful eyes of Kamsso’s older brothers, who corrected the small defects.
At age 18 he started selling his products.
He did not attend any professional school as the tradition of jeweler has always been passed down from father to son in his family and his education took place in the workshop of his parents.
