MICHEL MOUTON

Working with iron and fire was the thing that Michel Mouton was predestined to do, and that today has become his passion.
He graduated with a degree as an interpreter (Dutch, French, English) at the age of 23. In Wales he met the Czech artist-smith A. Habermann and together they realized a grid for the local museum.
This meeting marked the beginning of a great friendship and a long saga of iron and fire.
Later he made many trips to train in this discipline, and this allowed him to meet great artists-smiths in Europe, where he made many internships of refinement.
In Belgium, he founded a small semi-professional workshop in Bruges where he did research on the forms and techniques.
Michel Mouton also love to pass on and share his passion and this is why he organizes introductory courses for teenagers and adults. He also founded a mobile workshop with 5 burners and 10 anvils, that allows him to meet various groups of people and to introduce them to this profession.
He has many years of experience in this field. His professional career also led him to be a language teacher, a coordinator of vocational training in organic farming and he also graduated in Integrative Therapy, Gestalt-thérapie.
In short, a man with a rich and fascinating journey.
